This interesting shot shows one of the first floor bridges in strong detail along with its point of connection to the adjacent stair unit which serves 1st and 2nd floor levels. The construction of the bridge was very simple with a double box section carriage and tee section cross members located to co-inside with baluster positions on the bridge. Timber decking was screwed to the tee section cross members. The balustrade was painted off-site and the main structure was given its final coats on site to decrease the risk of damage.
