Cambourne Business Park forms part of the growing town of Cambourne being developed ten miles from Cambridge city centre. Hubbard has been closely involved in the construction of prestigious offices during the business park’s phased development, manufacturing stunning feature staircases as well as internal and escape stairs with associated balustrades and enclosures.
Building 2020 has a feature helical staircase rising through two floors and associated bridges and glazed balustrades. Hubbard also supplied internal escape staircases with mild steel balustrades and external escape staircases within stainless steel mesh enclosures.
Building 2030 features an atrium stair to two stories with balustrades and bridges. Glazed balustrade was also supplied to two levels of the atrium. Internal dog-leg escape stairs similar to those in 2020 were manufactured and installed by Hubbard. Two external escape staircases were also supplied.
Most recently, building 6010 which is now the offices of South Cambridgeshire District Council was completed. This features a dramatic suspended staircase dominating the open atrium.
